The Crosby Street Hotel's Outdoor Terrace Will Open This Weekend

Well, now you know where to find us this weekend. We'll most likely be chilling out, cherry pie martini in hand, on the roof of one of our (and Demi Moore's) favorite downtown Manhattan hideouts, The Crosby Street Hotel.
Starting on Sunday, visitors can head up to the hotel's outdoor terrace, which has its own private entrance on Lafayette Street. Tucked above the lobby is an adorable little brick-walled patio with probably about as much greenery as Hudson Terrace further uptown, except this one's a lot cozier. Rather than sweeping views of the Hudson River or the Manhattan skyline, you get a little enclosed garden in the midst of other quaint Soho apartment buildings.
Though, don't be fooled. This is still Soho, so there's nothing "quaint" about the prices on the menu.
Nevermind the cold spell that hit New York yesterday. We're confident that by Sunday, the warm breezes will be flowing once again, and it'll be a nice cool cocktail we want in our hand rather than a steaming mug of chai. At least that's what we're counting on.
If the cherry blossoms are already coming out, then it's high time we start ticking off some of these hotel rooftops from our list. As we proved last year, there's quite a few to get through!

3. Ping's Seafood
Hong Kong style Dim Sum is served by carts circulating around this busy Chinatown restaurant, which is notably smaller than many other places. 4. Jing Fong

Swedish
A collection of techniques designed primarily to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscle and bone and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart. To calm the body and mind, Swedish massage requires a special massage oil, which is also beneficial for smoothing the skin.

Shiatsu
Using accupuncture principles, Shiatsu is used to stimulate or sedate the meridian systems of the body and release blocked Qi (aka. Energy). This massage technique was developed in Japan and based on the Chinese medical theory that disease and pain are caused by blocked Qi (energy) along energy pathways in the body.

Deep Tissue
Used to release chronic muscle tension through slower strokes and more direct pressure or friction applied across the grain of the muscles. This invigorating experience is a process of detection of stiff or painful areas by determining the quality and texture of the deeper layers of musculature, and slowly working into the deep layers of muscle tissue.

(Mu keun ji)
